Terms of Use

Last updated: May 6, 2026. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Just1One mobile app, the marketing website, and related features, and your relationship with the publisher identified in the Legal notice.

This summary highlights key points in simplified form. It does not replace the full Terms below; if there is any inconsistency, the full Terms control.

Language and precedence

The Terms may be available in several languages on just1one.app. If there is a conflict between the English version on this page and a translation, the English version prevails for interpretation of the service, subject to any mandatory rules of the country where you habitually reside.

Acceptance and ending the Terms

By creating an account (including with email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google), accessing the app, or using the website, you agree to the Terms, the Privacy Policy, and referenced policies (including the Minor protection / CSAM page). Depending on the sign-up flow, you may be required to tick an acceptance box before your account is finalized. You may end the Terms by deleting your account in the app (Settings > GDPR) and stopping use of the service.

Age, eligibility, and territories

Just1One is a dating service for adults (18+, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher). You represent that you have legal capacity to contract. You agree to comply with local laws applicable to dating apps from where you access the service.

Service description and changes

Just1One offers time-limited matching, text conversation with progressive profile reveal, optional subscriptions and in-app purchases, and reporting tools. The service, UX, and pricing may evolve; material changes will be communicated through normal in-app channels and/or by updating these Terms with a new “Last updated” date.

Account, credentials, and security

You are responsible for accurate information and for keeping credentials confidential (password if you use one, active sessions, linked third-party accounts when you sign in with Google or Apple). Activity under your account is treated as yours. Report unauthorized use promptly via the Contact page.

Conduct rules and prohibited content

You must treat other members respectfully, avoid impersonation, harassment, hateful, fraudulent, or unsolicited sexually explicit content. Child sexual abuse material and sexual solicitation of minors are strictly forbidden; see https://just1one.app/en/child-safety. We may remove content and suspend accounts for serious or repeated breaches.

Subscriptions and in-app purchases (App Store / Google Play)

WAIT (free), FAST (5,99 EUR/month), INSTANT (8,99 EUR/month), INSTANT YEARLY (69,99 EUR/year), Super Match (7,99 EUR), and +1,000 characters (6,99 EUR) are sold through in-app purchases: Apple In-App Purchase on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the relevant store (iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). Refunds follow that store’s rules. Displayed prices may vary by country and taxes.

Matching pace and history

Just1One schedules matches in time windows (for example 8h on WAIT, 6h on FAST, 4h on INSTANT / INSTANT YEARLY) and keeps in-app conversation history for a limited period (currently 7 days). Exact parameters are those shown in the app at the time of use.

Moderation, decisions, and complaints

Support may restrict matching (shadow mode), suspend accounts, or remove content for violations of the Terms or the law. If support imposes a restriction, lifting it may require contact through the Contact page. For matters under EU Regulation 2022/2065 (DSA), including illegal content notices, use the secure Contact form: we acknowledge receipt when technically possible and handle requests within reasonable timeframes given severity and volume.

Intellectual property and licence

Just1One and its assets (brand, logo, UI, texts) are protected. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and site in line with the Terms. You retain rights in content you upload, while granting us the rights needed to host it, display it to other members as part of the service, and moderate it.

Third parties and links

The app may rely on third-party services (hosting, authentication via Clerk and, where applicable, Google or Apple, notifications, payments via the App Store and Google Play). Their terms and privacy policies apply where relevant. We do not control external sites linked from outside the product and are not responsible for their content.

Personal data

Processing is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that policy.

Warranties, liability, and caps

The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Subject to mandatory law, our aggregate liability for direct damages relating to these Terms is limited to amounts you paid us through the app in the twelve (12) months before the claim (excluding non-waivable statutory claims). We are not liable for indirect damages, lost opportunities, or outcomes of user-to-user interactions beyond our reasonable control.

Changes, duration, and governing law

We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change. If you disagree with a material change, you must stop using the service and delete your account. Contractual relations are governed by the law stated in the Legal notice, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country. Competent courts follow the Legal notice or applicable legal rules.

Account deletion and contact

Account deletion is available in the app (Settings > GDPR) with email confirmation, or on the marketing site (“Account deletion”, email + code). Partial data deletion or other GDPR requests can be submitted via the “Personal data” page or the Contact page. We reply by email to the address you provide in the form.
